Chopin Theatre's production of Slawomir Mrozek's TANGO has received the 2007 Best Direction Award for its director Brandon Bruce. Mr. Bruce's direction of TANGO was selected from productions of over 250 theaters in Chicago.
Mr. Bruce has also won Joseph Jefferson Award (the theater industry's equivalent of an Oscar) for his direction of Thorton Wilder's THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH. (Attached is foto by Maciek Zamorski from TANGO - foto appeared in the TimeOut Chicago article about the Orgie Theater Awards).
