Anniversary of the Reactivation of Catholic Action

Addressing pilgrims from Poland, the Holy Father emphasized that the revival of the association was possible thanks to the inspiration of St. John Paul II, who called Catholic Action a „school of faith” – reports Vatican News.

Leo XIV expressed gratitude to all ecclesiastical assistants and members of Catholic Action for their commitment to evangelization. He noted that their presence in the life of the Church and society constitutes an important testimony of faith and the responsibility of the laity for the mission of the Church.

Here is the full text of the papal greeting:

I cordially greet Poles. The celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the reactivation of Catholic Action in Poland are underway. This was made possible thanks to the inspiration of St. John Paul II, who called it a “school of faith.” I thank all the assistants and members of this association for their commitment to evangelization. May your faith be a sign of hope for your neighbors. I bless you all!
