The gala will be of a unique character, as Stan Borys will be celebrating his 85th birthday! The event program will include a concert featuring songs by Stan Borys performed by local artists and his friends, as well as a performance by a children’s choir. The second part of the evening will be dedicated to conversations and artistic memories of Stanisław Borys’s work, presented by his associates and friends.
The goal of this event is to promote Polish culture, with a special focus on the younger generation of the Polish diaspora. Interviews, archival photographs, and film footage documenting over six decades of artistic activity will be a tribute to Stan Borys’s legacy and extraordinary work. The artist has been creating continuously for over 65 years and remains actively involved in the life of the Polish-American community. This is undoubtedly a unique opportunity to celebrate together, and we warmly invite you to participate in this extraordinary event organized by the Polish & Slavic Center.
