Youth, community and the Word of God
These days, Paris is hosting the Taizé European Youth Meeting. The ecumenical events of the Taizé Community are held as part of a “pilgrimage of trust on earth.” The meetings gather tens of thousands of young Christians, inviting them to common prayer, silence, reflection on the Word of God, and an experience of the hospitality of local Churches.
Poland to host young people again
Poland has already hosted these meetings five times – in Warsaw, Poznań, and three times in Wrocław. The announced organization of another European Youth Meeting in our country is part of this long tradition of dialogue, openness, and building Christian unity from the Old Continent.
