Greenpoint Easter

This year, the meeting will be held for the fifth time, making it a true tradition of the New York Polish community.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the intersection of Nassau Ave and Bedford Ave in Greenpoint.

Blessing of Food and Live Music

As in previous years, Easter foods will be blessed by Father Grzegorz Markulak, Pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Greenpoint – who is participating in this tradition for the fourth time. Attendees can also look forward to musical entertainment – Stefan Orzech will sing and play the accordion.

The organizers encourage bringing your own Easter dishes for the communal table and wearing a fancy headpiece – which year after year becomes one of the more charming accents of this gathering.

Polish Community Gathering at the Monument of the Blessed

The Krakus Club’s Easter lunch is one of those events that best captures the spirit of Polish community life in New York – it combines community, faith, Polish holiday traditions, and the joy of simply being together. The monument of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko at the intersection of Nassau and Bedford is a special place for the Polish community – a symbolic backdrop for a gathering that attracts more and more participants each year.

Admission is free. All interested are cordially invited.
