Piotr Praszkowicz, was born in 1970 in Poland. He is the son of Maria and Franciszek Praszkowicz. In 1991, Piotr immigrated to the United States of America, ultimately establishing roots in Manhattan, New York.
Piotr acquired from his family home the values that guide him in his work, family life, and everyday life: hard work, determination, and discipline. He prospers in various business ventures, including his contracting company (PDP Contracting, Inc.), which he has successfully run since 1997, real estate and development investments. He actively participates in various types of Polonia’s charities and foundations. He is a proud Pulaski Association of Business and Professional Men member, which sponsors the Pulaski Day Parade.
Piotr is married to the former Dorota Rychlak. They are the proud parents of three children. The Praszkowicz family currently lives in Queens, New York.
Praszkowicz family are parishioners at St. Stanislaus B&M Church in Manhattan. At the parish, Piotr volunteers his time and currently serves as a trustee of this parish. He is a member of the Parish Pulaski Committee.
In 2022, Piotr was elected as the Manhattan Division Marshal of the Pulaski Parade, where he led the Manhattan contingent at the 85th Annual Pulaski Parade in New York City.
In 2023, his daughter was a Miss Polonia of Manhattan.
