Kulturbrücke Exhibit: Pairings and Groupings International Art Encounters from Germany & USA

January 12, 2015

Chicago, IL. The German American Cultural Center (DANK House) presents Kulturbrücke, a cultural bridge of poets, painters, dancers, and sculptors from both Germany and the United States.

Curated by Piotr Wolodkowicz and Marianne Buchwald of International Art Group Chicago, the exhibit at the Scharpenberg Gallery at the DANK House will feature a broad range of works with an intention to deepen cross-cultural ties. The curators will match up artists of similar sensibility to express the commonality of artists from varying backgrounds.

There will be a series of events that will entertain and stimulate thinking about how two cultures can create a dialog about what matters in the world of art. The events will be in German and English.

Admission is FREE and open to the public
Free parking provided through the generous support of MB FINANCIAL
