Academy of Young Diplomats - Your Career. Your Future

Katarzyna Waksmundzka     May 14, 2017

On behalf of the European Academy of Diplomacy in Warsaw, it is my great pleasure to bring to your attention our flagship program, the Academy of Young Diplomats, addressed to young leaders who wish to pursue a career in international environment.

The 14th edition of the European Academy if Diplomacy allows participants to polish practical skills thus complementing their formal education. It allows to expand their network of professional and personal contacts and, since the group are highly international, it also promotes Poland. By inviting participants to Warsaw and Cracow it builds on efforts of Polish communities abroad aiming at sustaining and strenghtening ties with the Homeland and Polish language.

The participants can choose one of three specializations: International Organization (held in English), International Security (held in English) and Polish Foreign Service (held in Polish).

Every year the Academy receives excellent applications from young leaders of Polish descent, that is why I allow myself to kindly request your assistance in reaching out to the Polish communities abroad and spreading the information attached to this email via your networks or recommending participants who would be interested in joining us for the 14th edition. The application deadline is 30 June 2017. Candidates fulfilling the criteria can apply for scholarships (scholarship application deadline: 31 May 2017). Detailed information and application can be found here: https://diplomats.pl/academy-of-young-diplomats

The European Academy of Diplomacy (EAD) is a non-for-profit, nongovernmental institution with over 12 years’ experience in educating future leaders, which today include over 5,500 alumni from over 75 countries. Many graduates from the EAD have successfully passed the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) exams, and have gone on to work for European institutions, but also other international organizations such as the United Nations, Council of Europe or the World Bank. We are proud to say that a number of our former students also work in Ministries of Foreign Affairs and a variety of public institutions of their respective countries. Do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
