Courses that Combine Knowledge and Community
The online courses, totaling 45 teaching hours each, offered skills and knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence, management, leadership, and Polish history for Polonia, taught in English. “We want to build bridges between Poles at home and abroad, creating spaces for exchanging ideas and fostering development,” emphasized Dr. Wojciech Wciseł, director of KUL’s Polonia Center.
Participants valued not only the knowledge gained but also the relationships formed during the courses. “Through these classes, I discovered my vocation and received support for my professional work,” said Agnieszka Kamińska from Germany, a three-time participant in the courses.
Achievements and Inspiration
KUL Rector, Fr. Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski, emphasized that over 6,000 people in more than 50 countries have built skills and qualifications through previous editions. He reminded participants with the words of Nobel laureate Władysław Reymont: “He who serves Poland serves himself and builds his own future.”
Nearly 70 professors, lecturers, and experts led the classes, and the Polonia Center’s initiatives are supported by Polish community organizations and media.

Polonia Gathering at KUL
This year’s courses also allowed participants to meet during the Polonia Gathering in Lublin. The program featured a debate on the strength of Polish communities abroad, integration meetings, presentations, and a “Splendor Poloniae” segment showcasing works shaping national identity. Senate Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska inaugurated the gathering. On Sunday, participants in the KUL Studium courses received their certificates and diplomas.
