The Story of Two Poets" is a theatrical adaptation of the book "Listy na wyczerpanym papierze" (The Letters on Depleted Paper).
Agnieszka Osiecka and Jeremi Przybora are treasures of Polish culture. Their artistic creation has been inspiring people for three generations.

Agnieszka Osiecka - "The poetess of broken colour," wrote lyrics for Poland's most popular songs, many of which remain all time top hits in Polish popular music.

Sir Jeremi Przybora - the master of written word and satire. The creator of Poland's most notable cabaret group, "Elderly Gentlemen's Cabaret".

It was March of 1964 when they began their two-year romance. The kind of romance that most of us see only in fairytales or read of in books. A romance driven by the beautiful language of poetry, of which they were both native speakers, is revealed in the trove of letters discovered years after their death.

In 2010, the memory of this extraordinary relationship saw the bright light when Agata Passent and Kot Przybora shared their parents' correspondence with the world.
