Wlodzimierz Planeta Exhibition at Starbucks, Greenpoint, NY

He photographs the streets of NYC and Shanghai. Mr. Planeta also documented the landscapes of Christianity, Greek Orthodox, and Judaism. His work has been displayed in over 200 exhibitions.

Włodzimierz Płaneta lives and works in Krakow, Poland.
He has been profesionally engaged in the field of photography since 1986 and runs his own commercial photography studio. A freelancer and lover of travel, the artist has traveled to the far reaches of northern Europe. Enchanted by the landscapes of Krakow and Venice. He photographs the streets of NYC and Shanghai. Mr. Planeta also documented the landscapes of Christianity, Greek Orthodox, and Judaism. His work has been displayed in over 200 exhibitions.
Mr. Planeta is the author of several photo albums, including: „Iceland”, „Venice”, „Krakowski Kazimierz”, and „Krakow”.
He is a promotor of photography, popularizing the medium as an instructor in the field. He has led a school of photography in Krakow for 25 years. Over 3000 students took classes in his studio, two of whom won as laureates in the World Press Photo.
The work presented in this exhibition will be a part of a new album, to be released in April 2017, entitled „Manhattan”.
