Raheem Sterling Step in Right Direction for Manchester City

Raheem Sterling offers City an extra outlet where they can be much more deadly on the counter attack, with players such as Aguero and Sterling receiving passes from David Silva and Samir Nasri.

Raheem Sterling will also benefit, since he was at his best when he had Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge to play alongside with – with nine goals and five assists, even then; with a considerably weaker Liverpool in the following season he was able to put up seven goals and seven assists in the league. He should be able to flourish playing alongside David Silva, Sergio Aguero, and Yaya Toure.

For Manchester City, this should be the first of several transfers where they can compete with Europe’s brightest talents. If they want to become the favorites for the Premier League in the long term, a new era of footballers must be brought in; footballers like Raheem Sterling.
