Shaping Poland's Image in Mainstream Media - a Symposium Hosted by the APAC

The American Polish Advisory Council invites you to a symposium on how Poland, its history and politics are portrayed in mainstream media.

 Join the conversation and help us establish strategies for how Poland, the Polish American community and key stakeholders can shape Poland's image including the eradication of historical inaccuracies and derogatory remarks. Hear from Polish Senator and Minister for International Dialogue Anna Maria Anders, representatives from Polish and US media and PR experts. Space is limited and early registration is recommended. Cost to participate is $65 per person and includes lunch. Registration is now open via Eventbrite.

Panel Descriptions

Interests: a panel featuring key stakeholders including representatives of Polish government, politicians, NGOs and Polish American organizations as well as other entities that might have an interest in shaping or confronting how Poland and its history are portrayed such as ethnic, religious or business groups.

Media: a panel including publishers and editors of Polish (Poland-based), Polish American and major, mainstream US media that shape how Poland, its history and internal politics are portrayed.

Money: a panel that includes and examines the public relations and government affairs industry including how resources can help shape or influencing a nation's image and how other nations rely on third parties to do so.
