Polish Cultural Institute New York, Polish Film Institute, and Polish Filmmakers NYC present DIFFERENT AGES, DIFFERENT VOICES: POLISH WOMEN IN FILM

Polish Cultural Institute New York, Polish Film Institute and Polish Filmmakers NYC present Different Ages, Different Voices: Polish Women in Film, a November film series featuring the newest Polish films by and about women.

In addition to a private screening of Kasia Roslaniec\'s Baby Blues, the series will feature the newest productions from the Munk Studio, including Mercy by Eliza Subotowicz and Malgorzata Kozera\'s The Princess and the Wall. A special screening of Agnieszka Holland\'s acclaimed classic, A Woman Alone, will be shown together with Krystyna Gryczelowska\'s documentary 24 Hours of Jadwiga L., followed by rarely screened documentaries devoted to women by Marcel Lozinski and Krzysztof Kieslowski and the newest production by Radka Franczak Losing Sonia. The showcase will wrap up with the Winner of the Teddy award for the best LGBTQ-themed film at the 2013 Berlin Film Festival Malgoska Szumowska\'s In the Name Of, followed by a screening of Katarzyna Klimkiewicz\'s Flying Blind.
