NY: All Classes Suspended at the Polish Slavic Center in Brooklyn for 30 days
18 marca, 2020
Please Note: All meals for seniors at the Krakus Senior Club will still be served and all of our clients' matters will be dealt with by telephone or e-mail.
Due to the spread of the coronavirus and our responsibility to the health and safety of our clients we will be suspending all classes operating at the Polish Slavic Center for 30 days.
The most important factor in our decision is our desire to care for and protect the clients, members, and employees of the Polish Slavic Center.
I would like to assure you that the Polish Slavic Center is closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus and are constantly implementing appropriate steps. We are also tightening the procedures for cleaning and disinfecting rooms on an ongoing basis.
For the safety of our clients, all matters are currently handled by phone and e-mail.
The coming weeks are the time for extensive preventative measures to prevent the spread of the virus. These activities are aimed at reducing large clusters of people. The fewer people in one place, the less likely the coronavirus or any other virus will spread quickly. Hence our decision to suspend classes. The 30-day suspension to programs operating at the Polish Slavic Center is undertaken with the safety of our clients and employees in mind.
The most important consideration for the Polish Slavic Center now is the health and safety of the people for whom the Center provides services and the well-being of its employees, who serve their Polish Community every day.
