Dear Friends here is another FIRST IN THE BRONX! EXCLUSIVE NYC ENGAGEMENT! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 YEARS! THE MOSCOW FESTIVAL BALLET’S SWAN LAKE AT LEHMAN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS – Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 7pm

Direct from Russia, Lehman Center for the Performing Arts presents The Moscow Festival Ballet in SWAN LAKE set to the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky. The company was founded by legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet Sergei Radchenko who sought to realize his vision of a company that brings together the highest classical elements of the great Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies in an independent new company within the framework of Russian classic ballet.

Ballet companies the world over have presented productions of SWAN LAKE to millions of dance lovers. The story has love, passion, sorcery, betrayal and redemption, and the sight of the beautiful, elegant dancing swans have become the quintessential, iconic image of ballerinas.

The company’s artistic director, Sergei Radchenko graduated from the Moscow School of Dance in 1964 and joined the Bolshoi Ballet, where he worked for 25 years. He has achieved a remarkable feat in establishing and developing The Moscow Festival Ballet into a young and Great Russian Ballet Company.
