Robert Lewandowski scores twice against Augsburg in 3-1 Win

Michael Skok     31 października, 2016

Robert Lewandowski is back to scoring ways for Bayern, having scored twice against their Bavarian rivals Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Arjen Robben was at the end of assisting both goals for the Polish international, seemingly having an increase in chemistry on the pitch. The Dutch winger scored the final of Bayern’s three goals, being assisted by none other than the Polish #9.

Augsburg’s Ja-Cheol Koo scored relatively late on in the 67th minute, with the underdogs instilling more pressure on the current champions. However, Bayern were able to comfortably hold the result until the final whistle.

Bayern’s most recent win keeps them on top of the table ahead of new boys RB Leipzig. There next game will be the return leg against PSV Eindhoven in the group stages of the Champions League.
